So, Simpson has published a new book, 'If I did do it---' and the Goldens still stick with their contention that OJ Simpson was responsible for the double murder.
All this despite Bailey suggesting that other killers could be discerned with careful reading of the first trial testimonies. This happened before the final appeal. I don't know why Simpson or his attorneys don't point out the relevant evidence. Perhaps they are reluctant to admit that Fuhrman had done a better than good job of collecting evidence.

Referring to the book 'The Glove', the first trial of John Jones missed some important logical inferences because of two erroneous assumptions.
The first was to assume that either John Jones or Mart Feldman had dropped the second glove. There was a large gap in time during the night when neither were at this crime scene.
The second was to assume that the glove was dropped inside the hedge when Mart Feldman had testified that is was easy to pass your hand through the hedge from the street side. Therefore the glove could have been planted from the sidewalk side of the hedge.
Explanations for either men having dropped a moist or wet glove were very weak.

With regard to the Duke rape case, it has been suggested that in the past rape convictions have been obtained without DNA evidence. However it should be pointed out that some of these convictions were obtained before DNA emerged as an investigative tool. Now occasions where DNA capability is there and no DNA is found should have greater exculpatory weight or value than in previous cases where there was no ability to detect DNA evidence.

It is possible that a similar theory to the one related in the crime/fiction book 'The Glove' by lem Yedowicz could be behind the hints of 'other killers' in the OJ Simpson case first by lawyer Shapiro of the defence team, and later when Lee Bailey declared a new approach with other suspects in the Simpson appeal.
It seemed that all this entailed a closer look at Mark Fuhrman's testimony.

In todays world the police don't have to get blood from a suspect for a DNA sample. They can swab the inside of his mouth and collect hair samples. Therefore there is less chance using blood from the suspect to plant blood evidence at the crime scene as what happened in 'The Glove' by Lem Yedowicz and what some suspected in the OJ Simpson case.

OTTAWA, April 22,2003 (PRIMEZONE) - A harrowing tale of double murder, planted evidence and alleged racism. The Glove (now available through Authorhouse, other online bookstores worldwide or at www.yedowicz.com ) offers a compelling fictional storyline, comparable to the details of the O.J. Simpson murder case, remarks author Lem Yedowicz.

The story unfolds as Jack Davidson relates the story to fellow airplane traveler Jim Wagoner, a writer returning from Africa and on me lookout for a story. The tale begins when the main character, Kevin MacPartiin, an inexperienced private detective, is given a difficult, new assignment from his boss, Allen Ross. The two investigators have been hired to work for criminal lawyer Juan Ruiz to help prove the innocence of a convicted double murderer. John Jones was convicted of murdering his wife and male friend and has served five years for the crime. Ruiz plans to prove Jones" innocence and has coordinated an appeal and retrial. Jones' previous conviction was based heavily on a dropped glove found at the Jones' residence. The glove was allegedly planted by a racist cop in order to implicate Jones, a black man, in the crime. Though MacPartfin finds fault with both Jones and the dirty cop, he discovers a startling new way of looking at the evidence and his breakthrough turns the case upside down.

A gripping work of fiction. The Glove offers readers a thrilling storyline that will hold their rapt attention until me very last page.
