Crime/fiction pointing to other suspects for a double murder similar to the OJ Simpson case.

In todays world the police don't have to get blood from a suspect for a DNA sample. They can swab the inside of his mouth and collect hair samples. Therefore there is less chance using blood from the suspect to plant blood evidence at the crime scene as what happened in 'The Glove' by Lem Yedowicz and what some suspected in the OJ Simpson case.
